FICE Canada

FICE International

FICE-Canada is pleased to be a national section of FICE-International [International Federation of Educative Communities] that was formed in 1948 to address the needs of children, youth, and families suffering from the devastating impacts of World War II across Europe and beyond. We are committed to learning from our international colleagues and to contributing to the future of FICE-International as a strong voice and effective organization for the well-being of children, youth, and families, and especially those with special needs or in various forms of distress.

Our Committment

We are a non-partisan, non-profit organization committed to living and working according to the values of truth, justice, inclusion, anti-oppression, anti-racism and social equity for all residents of Canada and the world. 

Membership

FICE-Canada Membership is constituted by member organizations in good standing from the following types:

  • Provincial and Territorial Child and Youth Care Associations.
  • Child and Youth Care Post Secondary Schools and Programs
  • Agencies that provides services  to children, youth and/or families that employ child and youth care workers, and that uphold the values, principles, and objectives of FICE-Canada.
